Lofa County Senator Steve Zargo has expressed concern over the delay in the certification of Senator elect Brownie Samukai. Senator Zargo said the people of Lofa County need to be duly informed about issues bordering the certification of Senator Elect Samukai. According to him, it is unfortunate that he alone is steering the affairs of the county at the Liberian senate adding that there is need to certificate his colleague.
The long serving Lofa County Senator was speaking on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at his capitol building office when he received an award from the Lofa Eye, a media institution under the stewardship of its Managing Editor Joseph Nyandibo. For their parts, both Senators Nyonblee Karnga Lawrence and Jonathan Kaipay expressed joy for the honor bestowed upon their colleague.
Senator Steve Zargo once served as Chairman for opposition Liberty party which has now divided into two.
