The Chairperson of the Liberia Land Authority has suggested that LLA be turned into a revenue-generating entity for the government instead of spending government resources. Atty. Adams Manobah said the LLA wants to gain not just financial autonomy but also financial sustainability.
He made the statement on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, when he was certificated by “Justice Online Center” for what the group termed as his outstanding performance in dealing with land issues in the country.
According to Mr. Manobah, in order for the LLA to be where it is today, there should first be a capital investment and stress that capital investment is what has helped developed and developing countries.
He furthered that investment does not only means spending cash or paying huge salaries but, training of staff and the use of technology among others.
