The European Union has committed to improve the some sectors within Liberia. Liberia President George Weah in a meeting with EU commissioner Jutta Urpilainen at the AU-EU summit in Brussels, signed four years agreement to improve four important sectors in the country.
According to reports,the agreement envelope 191 million euros for the next 4 years In the areas of:
Forestry
Food Systems
Electoral Process
Vocational Education
The EU has also begun to engage with the government of Liberia on fulfilling their commitment of 80 million for this year.
