The Executive Director of the group under the banner Compassion for Disabled Association, Lawrence Seaway is pleading with the government of Liberia and humanitarians to help the newly funded organization with medical supply, food, and a proper Learning Environment.
Compassion for Disable Association’ is an organization that is involved with the training of people living with disabilities farming in rural Liberia.
According to Mr. Seaway, people living with disabilities in rural areas do not have access to quality education and proper healthcare, and the community is abandoned by their families because of their current condition.
He noted that when given the opportunity, he promise the disabled community high contribution to society. Mr. Seaway appealed to the public that being disabled does not mean they are cursed or cursed to their families. According to him, they also have a lot to offer society if given the perfect care and opportunities.
