Accountability Lab Liberia has launched the 2022 Search for honest Public Servants Under the theme: “Integrity Builds a Nation”.
Giving the overview of the search for the integrity icon in Monrovia on Wednesday, the Country Director of Accountability Lab Liberia Lawrence Yealue said this year’s icon will focus on more women’s participation.
He said the reason for requesting more women’s participation is to allow them to step out of the kitchen because they do not belong in the kitchen.
Yealue added that the campaign is intended to name and fame public officials across the country who is serving with integrity.
The Accountability Lab Liberia Country Director said their search will focus on the following public institutions to include; the rule of laws institutions especially the Police, the drugs enforcement agency, the media, and others.
For her part, the Executive Director of the Public Procurement Concession Commission Roseline Kowo lauded the effort of Accountability Lab Liberia for undertaking such an effort.
Serving as Chief launcher of the program Madame Kowo noted that all Liberians need to strive for integrity in order for Liberia to progress.
