Let us all maintain the peace, Pres. Weah to Liberian Muslims

As Muslims end month-long fasting and prayer, Liberia President George Manneh Weah, urged them to pray for the peace and development of Liberia.  “I hope that their month-long prayers and supplications will grant us those blessings they asked of Allah for our Nation and the People of Liberia. As we now observe and celebrate the end of Ramadan, I ask all Muslims in Liberia to remain strong players in the maintenance of Peace in our Land”, Mr. Weah alarmed.

Mr. Weah congratulates and thank Liberian Muslims for their moral and spiritual endurance and devotion and for the many prayers offered for the Country.

The Liberian Leader at the same time grants all Muslims who are employed within the civil service and state-owned enterprises leave from work on Monday, May 2, 2022, to enable them to observe their sacred duties.

Ramadan is an annual observance of the Holy Month, which is one of the five pillars of Islam that is required of all healthy Muslims around the world.
