The Administration of the Gaye Town Elementary and Junior high school has received a total of 50 armchairs and 2 ceiling fans for students of the Institution. The donation was made on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at the Institution by officials of the Martha Chapter #10 Order of the Eastern Star.
Speaking at the occasion Sam Ford patron Martha Chapter #10 said this is his Organization’s own way of contributing to the capacity building of students in the country.
He stressed that Martha Chapter is engaged with Charity activities identifying with Institutions across Montserrado County which is in observing the organization’s anniversary.
Mr. Ford said Martha Chapter has donated children’s toys, window curtains, and baby items amongst other valuable items to the Administration of the Redemption Hospital.
He maintained that they are anticipating making another donation at the Duport road hospital in Paynesville shortly.
According to him, they are on a campaign to educate people about the Grand Masonic operation in the country.
He lamented that there are individuals who are not knowledgeable about the Masonic operation in Liberia but they are in the constant habit of spreading falsehood about the Masonic in the country causing panic among citizens.
Mr. Ford noted that due to the misleading information, people have negative precision about the function of the fraternity and called on them to desist.
Martha Chapter #10 Order of the Eastern Star is a Masonic body located at Benson Street in Central Monrovia.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the school Administration, Benjamin Kpah Lauded the Masonic body for their kind gesture describing the donation as timely.
He said the Institution is faced with lots of challenges. Mr. Kpah also called on humanitarian organizations to emulate a good example of Martha Chapter #10. According to him, the items will be used for the intended purpose.
