Monrovia- The political leader of the Unity Party, Joseph Nyumah Boakai, claimed that the CDC government was elected on the basis of falsehood and that they are continuing to do so while attempting to appeal to those who are smarter than they are. He claimed that every citizen in the nation is fully aware of the economic hardship that the populace is experiencing. He claimed that because president George Weah is guiding the nation on untruth, there has been no improvement in the standard of living for the people of Liberia.
Under his leadership as president, the former vice president Boakai vowed to pursue any official who amassed riches overnight without cause; he said they would be probed and, if found guilty, would face the full force of the law. He also stated that the rule of law would be enforced.
The political leader of the opposition argued that corruption has hampered and still impedes the nation’s progress; adding that, “Impunity will not be accepted under my Leadership.” According to Ambassador Boakai, the Weah, Taylor administration failed to manage the state’s resources effectively, and as a result, the inhabitants of Liberia are suffering the negative effects of poor leadership.
According to the UP Standard Bearer, the CDC Led-government does not believe in responsibility, and as a result, they are involved in financial mismanagement with inadequate oversight. As president of the Republic of Liberia, Ambassador Boakai restated his commitment to transforming the country within three years, and he urged the people of Liberia to put their trust in him to lead the country into the future. In light of his experience in agriculture, he took the opportunity to inform the people that he would be focusing on providing food. The UP Political Leader made the remarks when he appeared as a guest on Truth FM 96.1 a local radio station in Paynesville-Liberia.
