AHEAD OF 2023 ELECTIONS
Monrovia, Liberia – In the upcoming October 10, 2023 presidential and parliamentary elections in the country, Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor has galvanized Liberians to vote against the Boakai-Koung political ticket.
According to VP Taylor, Senator Prince Johnson will serve as president if Ambassador Joseph Boakai wins the 2023 elections, Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor however urged Liberians to reject the Boakai-Koung political ticket.
Madam Taylor stressed that the presidency will be run by Nimba County Senator Prince Johnson if Ambassador Joseph Boakai wins the elections in 2023. She asserted that Senator Johnson will serve as president in place of Senator Jeremiah Koung, who is running mate to Ambassador Boakai, due to the former vice president of Liberia’s allegedly declining health.
The vice president of Liberia urged voters who are backing the Boakai-Koung ticket to give their choices seriously consideration before the presidential and legislative elections on October 10, 2023. She made the remarks in support of President George Weah’s reelection campaign at a gathering of legislative workers in Monrovia.
