The Collaborating Political Parties’ standard bearer claimed that under President Weah’s rule, Liberia has descended into anarchy.

According to Alexander Cummings, lawlessness poses a severe risk to democracy and jeopardizes the stability and security of any country, making Liberia’s peace unstable. Mr. Cummings claimed that too many Liberians are living in fear, others are unemployed, and lack employable skills since the Weah administration noting that that the situation is dire and only growing worse in his message for July 26, Independence Day celebrations.

“As drugs and crime take over our streets and communities, homes are falling apart, families are disintegrating, and children are being forced to become breadwinners.”

Mr. Cummings claimed that since the nation cannot compare in terms of growth to its neighbors, there isn’t much to celebrate on July 26. Liberia is listed as one of the world’s poorest and most corrupt nations, he said, with a score of 176.

The politica continued that the health system is the worst, the court system is biased towards the wealthy, and the education system is a complete mess.
