Political Parties failing to provide campaign information alerts Joint Security

Sinkor, Monrovia – The Joint Security has expressed concerns that the lack of Political Parties to submit campaign schedules is a concern to the organisation during the ongoing electioneering season. Party leaders are allegedly failing to submit their campaign schedules throughout the electioneering period, according to the Joint Security Media Relations Team of Liberia.

Maude Somah, the director of press and public relations officer at the Ministry of Justice, revealed at a press conference in Monrovia on Thursday, September 7, 2023, that the joint security team has not yet received the campaign schedules of other political parties, with the exception of the ruling CDC.

Moses Carter, a spokesperson for the Liberia National Police, also spoke at the ceremony and vowed that the LNP would preserve its ethical standards throughout these elections. He added that there will be police officers assign around the country to ensure security during and after the elections.
