Palala, Bong County – Liberia President, George Manneh Weah has light up Palala City as part of campaign promises to the people of Bong. Speaking at a town hall meeting m, Mr. Weah promised to light up the entire Bong county if the people of Bong re-elect him.
As part of promise fulfilled, the Liberian Leader and his them had already started running wires through the homes of the people of Palala.
At the end of the town hall meeting, President Weah, VP Taylor and Elders walked to the mean switch to light up the first houses connected.
According to the project coordinator, the first phase lighted about 3000 homes in Palala, and promised to finish the rest in the soonest possible time.
