Monrovia, Liberia – The European Union Elections Observation Mission in Liberia has reiterated its dedication to observing the election on October 10., 2023. The Chief Observer of the EU Election Observation Mission, Andreas Scieder, spoke to journalists in Monrovia over the weekend and stated that since their arrival in the nation, discussions and consultations with officials had taken place.
He mentioned that 20 of the 100 observers from the 27 member nations had been placed in the 15 counties to observe the voting process, emphasising their neutrality and non-interference.
As the outcome of the elections in October would determine the future of the nation, the EU mission’s chief observer urged Liberians to practise peace.
