Monrovia, Liberia – Following predicted victories in crucial battleground states, former US President Donald Trump claimed victory over Vice President Kamala Harris.
In the early hours of Wednesday, November 6, 2024, Trump had 267 Electoral College votes, just three votes shy of the 270 needed to win the White House in the November 5 election, after the Associated Press news agency called for him in the swing states of Georgia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania, according to Aljazeera report.
Although Harris hasn’t surrendered yet and AP hasn’t officially declared a Trump presidential election, the vice president doesn’t seem to have a realistic chance of reaching the 270 mark.
