Monrovia, Liberia – Alexander B. Cummings, the political leader of the Alternative National Congress, has urged young Liberians to change their mind if they want to see Liberia develop and raise the standard of living for the average citizenry.
Alexander Cummings asserted that the nation and its people will never gain from having the same leaders in power who have let them down in the past. The National Youth Congress of the Alternative National Congress organized a one-day retreat in Congo Town over the weekend, where Mr. Cumming spoke.
Speaking earlier, the Secretary General of the National Youth Congress of the Alternative Youth Congress, Alieu Kiadii, disclosed that the number from the 2023 presidential and legislative will determine the future of the country.
According to Kiadii, history has never been made by the complacent majority but by people who are viewed as the commoners and the overlooked.
The retreat, under the theme: “Forging The Future: Empowering Youth Leadership for Liberia’s Transformative Development,” was graced by youth’s chapters of the ANC from the 15 sub-political divisions.
