The latest reports from the steering committee for the At-Risk youths program have revealed that about 28,500 United States dollars have been raised for the At-Risk youths.

It can be recalled on July 30 this year, the government of Liberia launched a National Fund Drive for the rehabilitation of At-Risk Youth across the Country.

Addressing the Ministry of Information press briefing on Thursday, August 11, 2022, Youths and Sports Minister Dee Zeogar Wilson said 25 thousand of the amount came from MANO Manufacturing Company, 300 hundred united states dollars from the Cameroon embassy, and USD$1,000 from the Nigerian embassy.

Minister Wilson noted that USD$200 was received from Cape Hotel and USD$2,000 from the office of the first lady of Liberia madam Clar Weah.

According to him the steering committee for the At-Risk youth program recently held a meeting with development partners to strategize and plan a roadmap for the speedy implementation of the project.

The Youths and Sports Minster have assured his committee’s commitment to fully implement the At-Risk Youths program.
