Monrovia, Liberia – With just five points from their first 10 league games in the 2024/2025 LFA first division, the Rollers of Mighty Barrolle are having their worst season in recent memory.
They believed that things were going to improve once Coach Christian Mend was fired and Sekou Manubah was hired. However, the situation is becoming more complex than they had anticipated.
Barrolle supporters suffered yet another heartbreaking day on Thursday when they were defeated 6-3 at home by Discoveries Sports Academy, who had just been promoted.
The Rollers were five points from safety and in the relegation zone after the loss. This Sunday, they will play again at home against the league leaders, FC Fassell’s Soccer Missionaries.
With 26 points from ten games, league leaders FC Fassall defeated LPRC Oilers 2-1 on Thursday, to pull 6 points clear of Bea Mountain in the title chase.
Paynesville FC again showed their consistency by losing to Black Man Warrior 2-0 at home, ruining their chances of winning the championship and dropping them to third place, seven points behind leaders FC Fassall.
