Turns over Water Tower in Kinjor to the county management.

Monrovia, Liberia – Bea Mountain Mining Corporation handed over the sustainable Water Tower in Kinjor to county authorities on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, as part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility efforts. The event was performed with Foley Kiatamba, the Superintendent of Grand Cape Mount County.

During the handover ceremony, the County’s local leadership, led by Superintendent Kiatamba, as well as the leadership of Kinjor, the ladies, youths, and BMMC Management, received it with smiles and commendations.

Superintendent Kiatamba expressed thanks to BMMC Management for the water project, stating that the water will benefit his community by alleviating the limitations they encounter during the dry season.

RAP Chairman Lansana K. Sambola, Kinjor Town Chief Musa Massaley, and Youth Chairman Winston Korsor praised the BMMC for the initiative. The water tower in Jawajeh Marvoh was not turned over owing to some work, but Technical Manager Tansen promises the inhabitants that the project would be completed and turned over to them later.

Some individuals expressed gratitude to management for the amount of improvements it is implementing in affected neighborhoods.

“For my part, I’d like to congratulate the BMMC for this large water project here. As you are aware, water is life, and everybody concerned about your well-being wishes you the best. And that is precisely what BMMC has done,” remarked James Kemokai, a local resident, with joy.

This is not the first time that BMMC has built a water tower in impacted neighborhoods. It has carried out a number of them in various sites around the country.
