France Ligue 1 side Racing Club du Lens chief scout for Africa, Vincent Roger Ciccada concluded a scouting mission to Liberia on December 8, 2021. Cicada, who arrived in Liberia on December 4, from France, has been scouting players between 15-19 years in a series of matches at the Tusa field in Gardnersville.
He briefed Liberia Football Association (LFA) President Mustapha Raji and Vice Presidents Sekou Konneh and Wilmot Smith and men’s under-15 head coach Ansu Keita at a closed-door meeting in the boardroom at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium on December 8.
Ciccada, who was invited by the LFA through Keita, said he was delighted to visit Liberia for the first time based on President George Manneh Weah’s contributions to football in Africa and the world.
