Monrovia, Liberia – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Dean of the Cabinet Sara Beysolow Nyanti has call on all Liberians to brand the nation Positively.
Speaking on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the MICAT Special press briefing, Minister Nyanti emphasized that everyone must support the country’s progress plan because undermining its reputation will not help it.
As a nation that has shown love for other nations, Liberia has a responsibility to look out for its own, according to Madam Nyanti, who stated that those who were brought back should be regarded as fellow Liberians.
Many of them, she said, are afraid and feel vulnerable, therefore everyone has a responsibility to work with them and help them feel at home.
“Liberians, we must take care of our own, there is only one Liberia and is where all Liberians should find prosperity. No Liberian should have to stay somewhere else because they feel like home is not home. Home is for all Liberians and it is important that we continue to open up our arms welcome our Liberians back home and work together to make sure that they blank in. Many of them fears and have vulnerabilities but we have to make sure home feels like home for them and it requires all Liberians to do that.”
