Buchana City – Asserting remarkable continuous growth throughout the nation, hundreds of Grand Bassa citizens have publicly embraced incumbent President George Weah’s candidacy for a second term. On Saturday July 15, 2023, hundreds of citizens from across the Land and birth of Grand Bassa County gathered at the Monrovia Junction to welcome the Liberian Leader into the county.
The welcoming ceremony; however, was followed by a massive parade through the principal street of Buchanan City from Monrovia Junction to the Fairgrounds, where Citizens of the county presented their endorsement statement highlighting unprecedented developments carryout by President George Weah across the country. Some of the citizens most of whom are young people expressed confidence in President Weah nothing that if he is reelected, there will be more developments in the country.
President Weah promised to continue his development project in the county if elected while addressing a gathering of ecstatic supporters at the fairgrounds in Buchanan City. The CDC Standard bearer used the occasion to inform Bassa Citizens that the Opposition Unity Party is not capacitated to rescue the country.
President Weah said, CDC is the only political party that is in the interest of the Liberian people therefore, the Liberian people should give his Leadership the second term to complete what he started.
