Monrovia, Liberia – Independent inquiry by Reports231 has shown that Mighty Barrolle Football Club players have threatened to skip the team’s championship game against the National First Division owing to four-month salary arrears.

According to the disgruntled players, if Mighty Barrolle Sports Association doesn’t pay their debts, they won’t show up for the match on Sunday against Jubilee FC.

They may carry out their planned acts, which would send Invincible Eleven to the second division.

The Yellow Boys were hopeful that their longtime rivals would defeat Jubilee FC in order to secure their place in the top flight.

In accordance with the league’s rules and regulations, Jubilee FC will be given 3 points and 2 goals if Mighty Barrolle violates her final.

The institution is in debt to the players, the Mighty Barrolle Sports Association’s vice president for administration, Mrs. Roseline Konneh, affirmed when reached, although she would not say how long.

The players’ intention to boycott the club’s final game on Sunday, April 23, 2023, was not confirmed by Madam Konneh at the same time.

”We can’t discuss our issues in the press, but who can’t owed players. And for your information, I’m not aware of any planned boycott of game by the players, Mrs. Konneh indicated”.
