PROVIDES HOT MEAL FOR OVER 1,000 IMATES AT MONROVIA CENTRAL PRISON, AND ABOUT 700 DISADVANTAGE YOUTHS IN MONROVIA

Monrovia, Liberia – A commemoration of Liberia’s 177th anniversary was held on July 26 at Weala, Margibi County, where over 3,000 children were fed by Indian business magnate and former Hornary Council General to Liberia, Upjit Singh Sachdeva, popularly known as Mr. Jeety.

Hot meals and toys were given to thousands of children by the Indian business magnate, who owns a multi-million dollar rubber factory in Weala.

The children and their parents greeted Sachdeva (Jeety) and his team, together with media practitioners, with great warmth, highlighting the atmosphere of compassion and solidarity during the ceremony.

With jollof rice, chicken, soft drinks, and water, the party offered the kids joy and hope. The audience was treated to live singing and dance performances by the kids.

In his inaugural speech, Jeety emphasized the importance of recognizing and developing the next generation of American leaders. He reiterated his vow to bring joy to the children on significant events. Jeety’s efforts have a lasting impact on promoting future optimism and communal cohesiveness.

His dedication to improving the lives of underprivileged individuals, inmates, and children in Monrovia and the neighboring counties reflects his belief that everyone is worthy of respect and atonement.

Jeety’s good deeds were greatly appreciated by the community, especially by Weala, a village that is normally disregarded. They described the celebration on July 26 as a priceless gift that residents will never forget. Earlier in the morning, Mr. Jeety showed compassion to disadvantaged youngsters on Monrovia’s Center Street and over one thousand inmates at the Monrovia Central Prison.

He fed about seven hundred disadvantage young people in Monrovia with hot meals, soft drinks, sachets of water, and cake. Verney Lake, the superintendent of Monrovia Central Prison, expressed gratitude for Jeety’s continued good gesture and acknowledged his continued support to the prisoners and facility.

Jeety’s commitment to serving others is a direct result of his own difficult upbringing in India. He overcome these challenges and established a prosperous business empire in Liberia, which included a cutting-edge rubber factory in Weala, with the help of his parents and a lot of hard work and perseverance.

Mr. Jeety, a prosperous businessman, utilizes his resources to help people going through comparable difficulties. Many Liberians now have work prospects as a result of his charitable work.
