    Vows To Uphold Ethical Reporting

    Monrovia, Liberia – The New Dawn Newspaper reporter, Lincoln G. Peters has been awarded Judiciary Reporter of the Year. Journalist Peters along with several others Liberian journalists and professionals received awards at the Ambassador Television Group of Companies Incorporated Year End Award night.

    The fundraising and award night which was held at the Dominion Christian Fellowship Center in Paynesville, outside Monrovia under the theme: ‘’Honored and Dignity’’ brought together several individuals including the Press Union of Liberia President, Julius Kanubah among others

    However, presentation the award, Madam Harrilyn –Grace E. Johnson said that the award is provided to Journalist Peters for his contribution and tireless effort in disseminating accurate, balance and credible information at the Judiciary, especially the Temple of Justice.

    “Certificate of award: This is certificate is awarded and Presented to Mr. Lincoln G. Peters, your outstanding contributions to the Print media has created a new path in changing the narrative in our judicial sector and the world at large. Based upon that, you are therefore, awarded Judicial Reporter of the Year award. We hereby affixed our signatures on this 22nd Day of December 2024,’’ the wardens on the certificate reads.

    Receiving the award, journalist Peters expressed appreciation and gratitude to Ambassadors Television Group of Companies and all those who voted him during the vetting process. He also vowed to uphold professionalism and ethical reporting as journalist.

    According to him, when he received a called from the institution that he has been selected for this award but, should submit a story, he doubted the process but after submitting a story on the Potential Collapse of the Liberian Supreme Court, with the votes the story received, he gained courage and trust that he could make it.

    “I want to appreciate all of you that voted me. I want to assured you that I will continue to uphold the ethical standard and professionalism that comes with this profession. I see this as a stepping stone to greater achievement and progress in the media. It’s my hope that others will do the same by following the path of balance, accurate and credible reporting,’’ he urged.

    Giving an overview of the program, Isaiah I. Gbaineh said that the Ambassador Television Group of Companies is a register media institution in Liberia with an article of incorporation and recognized by the Ministry of Information Culture Affairs and Tourisms and the Liberian Business Registrary.

    ‘’This award is done after several months of thorough vetting and voting by the Public on our social media platforms. We are saying this because we don’t want people to think that we hand-pick those awarded here tonight. Finally, we urged them to continue to do well,’’ he narrated.
