Liberia has been drawn against Morocco, South Africa, and Zimbabwe in Group K’ for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, which start in June.
The draw was conducted by South African journalist Thomas Mlabo and assisted by former Ivory Coast international Solomon Kalou and former South Africa international Lucas Radebe in the studios of SuperSport in Johannesburg, South Africa at 17:30GMT on 19 April.
Forty-eight (48) countries qualified to participate in the second round of the qualifiers based on the official FIFA ranking released on 31 March 2022.
The teams were drawn into 12 groups of four teams (Group A to L) with the top two teams from each group qualifying for the finals.
Hosts-Ivory Coast will participate in the qualifiers although they have secured a place in the tournament, which means only one team from their group will qualify for the competition.
