The Liberia Football Association (LFA), led by Mustapha Raji, is anticipated to start receiving more than eight million dollars from FIFA this month. The sum, according to the World Football Governing Body, is the third cycle of its Forward 3.0 program, which was created to support all member countries starting this year through 2026.
It is reported that USD$5 million is for each member association to cover its operational costs in relation to football activities. While USD$3 million is for each member association to execute well-planned, specific football projects that contribute to the achievement of long-term football development objectives.
Additional funding in the amount of USD$1.2 million will be given to member associations that are determined to require the most help in order to pay for their national teams’ travel and lodging expenses as well as football equipment.
According to reports, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) would receive a total of USD$60 million, with $5 million going to each African zone to support the creation of regional programs for adults, children, and youth.
