LKF Welcome Cllr. Bangalu Appointment

Monrovia, Liberia – The Liberia Kickball Federation has welcomed the appointment of seasoned sports administrator Cllr. Jero Cole Bangalu as Minister of Youth and Sports Designate. In a statement shared on social media (Facebook) on Thursday, January 25, 2024, LKF claimed that the appointment was a wise one and that he would contribute to the transformation of sports in the nation.

President Joseph Boakai nominated Cllr. Bangalu on Thursday, January 25, 2024, along with many others. His appointment will take immediate effect following confirmation by the Liberian Senate.

Cllr. Jeror Cole Bangalu currently serves as head of the Liberia Football Association awards committee and chairman of the LFA First Instant Board.

He is also one of two lawyers representing LFA President Mustapha Raji in his defamation of character lawsuit against former LFA Secretary General Isaac Montgomery.
