Discusses Strengthening Health Partnerships
 

Monrovia, Liberia – A meeting with Minister Dr. Louise M. Kpoto of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of Liberia to deepen the Health Partnership has concluded, according to Madam Brittney M. Varpilah, Country Director of Last Miles Health. The goal of the meeting was for the minister to reiterate their institution’s support for Liberia’s healthcare industry.

Dr. Louise M. Kpoto, the Minister of Health, thanked Madam Varpilah for her efforts to the health sector and promised to support the process to the hilt in her speech on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. Minister Kpoto also stated her intention to maintain the close cooperation and collaborations in order to improve public health outcomes by promoting healthcare services.

In her remarks, Madam Varpilah also reassured the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of her dedication to offering the Liberian people high-quality, reasonably priced healthcare services.

Fostering improved healthcare delivery between Last Miles Health and MOH is the main goal of the conference. The significance of healthcare services at the community health level, particularly in rural regions, was also emphasized.
