The government of Liberia through the Ministry of Justice is requesting the late Princess Cooper family to officially write communication of apology to the Ministry of Justice before releasing the body of the late Princess Cooper.

Minister Rennie noted that the family rejected the March 31, 2022 autopsy report, claiming that the report was far from reality. The government granted the family to find an independent pathologist to conduct a second autopsy on the late Princess Cooper.
