Monrovia, Liberia – An Organization Under the banner Nimba for Weah re-election has officially been Launched in Monrovia aimed at rallying Nimbaians support towards the re-election of the Coaliation for Democratic Change government. Speaking at the official Launch of the Organization on Friday April 14, 2023, in Monrovia, the Organization Chairman Shedrich Dokey noted that the Organization intend is to deliver Nimba County to President George Weah during the October 10, 2023, Presidential and Legislative elections.
Chairman Dockey stated that the group is comprised of Nimba citizens who have decided to put the county interest above individual interest; nothing that since the establishment of the County in 1964, President Weah is the only president who is connecting roads across the Nimba.
He highlighted important county projects, such as the 47.1-kilometer Sanniquellie to Logatuo road, the 67-kilometer Ganta to Sanniquellie road, the Yakapa road, stable electricity, free tuition, and waivers of WAEC costs, among others. Dockey informed his audiene that more than 3,000 county students are currently receiving scholarships via the administration of the CDC government.
In the vote-rich county of Nimba, he underlined his organization’s commitment to making sure the Liberian leader has complete support. Stressing that President George Weah has carried out significant development throughout the nation, he asked Nimbians to maintain their concentration while the government continues to construct more roads.
On Friday, April 21, 2023, in Ganta Nimba County, Phrase 2 of the program will take place, during which the Organization will be formally introduced to the local populace.
