The Managing Director of the National Port Authority, Bill Twehway, has donated a brand new Toyota Hilux pickup to the Wings of Success Pastoral Network of Liberia. The cost of the four doors pickup, according to Honorable Twehway, is in the tone of thirty five thousand United States dollars.
Presenting the key of the pickup at the Children of Light Chapel in Red Light, Paynesville on Friday, November 19,2021, the NPA Managing Director said the gesture was in recognition of the group’s overwhelming support to President George Weah in 2017.
He said the religious group was generous in 2017 by supporting and voting President Weah through all of its branches and chapters across the country. Director Twehway said, his gesture was as a result of a mandate from President Weah to help in the mobility challenges and to smoothen the work of the Christian organization.
According to him the donation of the vehicle is not only meant to empower the group for 2023 campaign purpose in favor of the CDC administration but intended to empower the group to spread the words of God across Liberia.
Receiving the vehicle, the President of the organization, Bishop Sylvester Wallace lauded Director Twehway for recognizing the effort and support of religious group like his. According to Bishop Wallace the donation of the vehicle was timely as it will ease the transportation burden that the institution is face with, and will enhance their work.
Bishop Wallace assured the Director of his group commitment to vote the CDC government in the pending 2023 elections while calling on the religious community to pray for President Weah and his government to succeed for the betterment of Liberia. The Wings of Success Pastoral Network is a Monrovia based Christian organization that has been in existing for several years with over seventy two branches across the country.
