Bong County- President George Weah has announced Williams Thompson as CDC candidate in Bong County District #6 election. The former deputy minister of energy who is heavily supported by the people of Bong County District #6 praised for his work in the district.
At a town hall meeting organized for President Weah the people of the district, Thompson thanked the Liberian Leader for the support and named serious opportunities Mr. Weah has given him.
According to him, the president support to him is not a surprise but a wake up call to every young person to prepare themselves for every opportunity. Thompson said, the President is found of giving young people the opportunity to prove whet they are capable of.
Speaking to a citizen of the district, John Kollie, he said Thompson is the right person. He noted that representatives aspirant Thompson has given scholarship and other opportunities to young people of the district, something he said is worth voting for.
