Buchana City, Grand Bassa – A Grand Bassa County pastor who openly criticized CDC Government officials for allegedly failing to provide the people with basic services has been mocked by President George Weah.
The priest warned the president that Ministers in his Government are failing and that there is a large generational gap that needs to be addressed during his speech at a ceremony to pray for the president and Liberia.
He cited the Weah administration’s Ministries of Health, Education, and Public Works as examples of agencies failing to improve the lives of Liberians, particularly those living in the country’s rural areas.
The President responded and said the priest needs to read Liberian history while the audience, which was mainly made up of government officials and supporters, laughed and cheered.
The President stated that the generational gap cannot be attributed to his government because the CDC Government is attempting to find solutions to the myriad issues the nation has faced for a long time.
He at the sametime asked church leaders to speak in ways that will promote the country. According to him, his govrnment has has improve the education sector especially regularly paying WASSCE fees for the past years, the construction of modern hospitals and roads development around the country.
