President George Manneh Weah will on Thursday, November 11, 2021, join French President Emmanuel Macron and other world leaders at the Fourth Edition of the Paris Peace Forum (PPF). President Weah is expected to call on participants and delegates, including state and non-state actors, to engage in more cooperation for collective action according to the Executive Mansion.
The 2021 Paris Peace Forum is for the most important actors in global governance including Heads of State and Governments, Chief Executive Officers (CEO) of major multinationals, and civil society organizations, for a three-day event. At the fourth consecutive edition of the peace forum, President Weah is expected to give concrete suggestions to combat the huge challenges posed by the COVID-19, and call on leaders to improve global governance in times of the pandemic.
The Liberian Leader will also on Friday, November 12, 2021, address the 41st Session of the United Nations Scientific Education and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) General Conference High-Level Segment and the 75th Anniversary of UNESCO in Paris. President George Weah is expected to support UNESCO’s Environmental Sustainability and Management Policy by highlighting the need to continually strengthen its eco-sustainable initiatives.
The release noted that, the Liberian Leader is expected to meet and hold bilateral and multilateral discussions with other world leaders, as well as engage the business community for possible investment in Liberia, at the Paris Peace Forum.
