Monrovia, Liberia – President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has sent a congratulatory message to the Government and people of the People’s Republic of China, on the occasion commemorating the 75th National Day Anniversary of that great country on October 1, 2024.
According to a Foreign Ministry release, in his message to his Chinese counterpart, H. E. President XI Jinping, the Liberian leader, on behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Liberia, extended warmest felicitations to the Chinese leader, and through him, to the Government and people of China, as they commemorate this historic milestone.
President Boakai expressed confidence that the friendly ties of friendship and cooperation that currently exist between the two countries and peoples will only strengthen in the spirit of global solidarity as Liberia joins China in commemorating this historic day.
He added that his government will pay close attention to China’s move to upgrade the two nations’ relationship to that of a strategic partnership. The leader of Liberia also applauded China for its people-centered modernization program, which is being led by President Jinping and advocates for modernization as a human right, with the idea that no one should be left behind.
President Boakai maintained that he looked forward to their continued cooperation as the two leaders worked to advance UN ideals for the advancement of global peace and security. He continued by wishing that H.E. President XI Jinping will always have an abundance of strength and wisdom to guide both his nation and the rest of the globe toward greater prosperity.
