Monrovia, Liberia – The President-elect of the Republic of Senegal, Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye, has received a congratulations message from President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr, president of the Republic of Liberia.
According to a statement from the Foreign Ministry, President Boakai congratulated Mr. Faye on his election to the highest position in the nation on behalf of the Government, the People of Liberia, and himself.
He reassured his Senegalese colleague that he would always be available to collaborate with him in order to preserve and strengthen the good and multifaceted connections that currently exist between the two nations and peoples.
The Liberian leader then wished President-elect Faye every success in the discharge of his lofty duties pray that the Grand Architect of the Universe grant him the wisdom and fortitude to lead the great people of Senegal to prosperity and happiness.
