President Weah Consoles Cote D’Ivoire

Monrovia, Liberia – Following the passing of His H.E. Henri Konan Bedie, former president of the Republic of Cote D’Ivoire, President George Manneh Weah extended a condolence message to His Excellency Mr. Alassane Ouattara and the people of Cote D’Ivoire.

According to a statement from the foreign ministry, President George Manneh Weah sent His Excellency Mr. Alassane Ouattara, President of the Republic of Cote D’Ivoire, and in particular the bereaved Family, his sincere condolences for the irreparable loss suffered on behalf of the government and people of Liberia.

The Liberian Leader then prayed and hoped that the All-Powerful God would give comfort and fortitude to His Excellency Mr. Alassane Ouattara, President of the Republic of Cote D’Ivoire, and the resolute people of the Republic of Cote D’Ivoire during this trying time of public sorrow.

President Henri Konan Bedie passed away on August 1st, 2023, at the age of 89.
