Bo City, Sierra Leone – In Bo City, Sierra Leone, a number of international football agents from around the globe have assembled to scout young African talent at the present Star Sports Academy Tournament. The competition is being held by Star Sports Academy in collaboration with Turkey’s first division team, Atalyaspor. The competition began on Monday, October 16, 2023, and is to last for a week.

Though many African grassroots clubs are competing in the event, Africa New Stars Sports Academy, a Liberian squad, is the only Liberian representative. They lost 5-1 to Saint Marie Academy of Guinea in the early game of their debut on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.

On Tuesday, Al Kallon FC of Sierra Leone defeated Atouga Foot of Guinea 1-0, while Athletics Club of Guinea and Frances FC of Sierra Leone drew 1-1. The match between EMF Luawa FC of Sierra Leone and PM Academie Lambanyi of Mali is still in progress.

In Monday’s match, FC Kallon defeated BO All Stars 3-0, while the hosts Star Sports Academy defeated their counterparts from Sierra Leone, K & K Academy, 1-0. Senegal’s Dream Foot defeated Guinea’s Sabou FAC 1-0. GFI Academy of Guinea and East End Lions FC of Sierra Leone ended in a 2-2 draw.

Reports231 has learned that international scouts have been watching Emmanuel Toe, the goalkeeper of Africa New Stars Sports Academy. He gave an outstanding effort in their 5-1 loss against Saint Marie Academy of Guinea. According to information, it is alleged that the Guinean team had an advantage because they had older players in the squard.
