Monrovia, Liberia – Fifteen scholarship students at the Ambulia Gbangba Public School in Maizen, Bomi County, have received educational supplies, including pens, copybooks, pencils, and LRD$ 2,800, from a nonprofit operating under the name “The Kids Reading For All Foundation.”

The donation, led by the foundation’s CEO LTCO Saimo Omias Kortu, Executive Director E. Reagan G.T. Barcon II and other team members aim to support the educational development of underprivileged children in Liberia.

During a ceremony at the school, the items were given to the beneficiaries, who were mostly elementary school pupils.

Speaking, LTCOL Kortu emphasized the foundation’s dedication to uplifting impoverished school children and giving back to the community.

In order to promote academic success, he promised to create scholarship prizes for the top-performing kids and to give more educational resources each year.

Executive Director E. Reagan G.T. Barcon II, for his part, stressed the value of education and the development of human ability as essential investments in a modern society.

In order to become responsible citizens who contribute to the development of their communities, Barcon advised the scholarship recipients to uphold moral principles, show respect for their parents and instructors, and concentrate on their education.

The administrator did, however, thank the foundation for its significant donations after accepting the items on behalf of the school. For providing kids with chances and a supportive learning atmosphere, he praised the leadership.

The fact that Maizen Town residents, municipal politicians, and school administrators attended the celebration demonstrated how supportive the community is of the project.
