The president of the Chrisco United Football Club has expressed grave worry over the fact that the Mustapha I. Raji-led Liberia Football Association has consistently targeted his team. Chris Weah claims that the LFA Duport Road Sub Committee, where the club is competing in this season’s national league, has once more docked their team six points.

The former professional footballer and businessman said the relegation of Chrisco United FC formerly of Stages FC to the 3rd division from the 2nd division during the 2021 league season was at a result of 7points deduction.

Mr. Weah made the disclosure in Paynesville on 8 April when Stages Queen all Stars presented a trophy to him which they won during the 2023 March Madness Championship. Mr. Weah made the disclosure in Paynesville on Saturday, April 8, 2023, when Stages Queen all Stars presented a trophy to him which they won during the 2023 March Madness Championship.

”Mr. Raji has targeted us because of our criticism of how poorly football is now being run in the nation, but rest assured that we won’t change.”

Morris Tarr, the chairman of the Liberia Football Association’s Duport Road Sub Committee, confirmed to Reports 231 that Chrisco United Football Club had been docked 6 points. According to Mr. Tarr, Crisco United FC had six points taken away from them, but they weren’t the only team to endure this league-wide loss.

Though Mr. Tarr did not name the club but mentioned that a particular club which caused the Sub Committee to have deducted points from every club has been relegated due to foil fixture of three matches which is a violation of the league.
