The head of the United Bong Association in the Americas has assured persons living with disabilities in Bong County that the organization is contemplating drafting programs and initiatives to impact their lives.
Philip Singbah made the statement when the Association on Thursday, December 23, 2021, made available forty bags of 25kg rice for persons living with disabilities. According to Philip, the donation was the association’s own way of identifying with members of the disabled communities during this festive season
. Taking delivery of the rice, the President of the Organization of Persons Living with Disabilities in Bong, Arthur Bondo extended commendations to the leadership of the UBCCA for thinking of them during these struggling times.
He stated that the gesture has saved the group from begging others, just to put food on their tables this Christmas.
