Liberia’s vice President, Jewel Howard-Taylor ignores question about Sunday’s attack at the Church.
Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor declined to condemn Sunday’s provocation at the church. Vice President Taylor expressed her condemnation of violence in the impending 2023 elections during a brief interview with journalists on Monday, May 22, 2023, at her office in the capital building.
Madam Howard-Taylor, however, failed to respond to a question regarding her view on the protest action carried out by individuals wearing NPP and CDC berets and jackets, at Senator Johnson’s church. The Vice President abruptly left the interview when asked by reporters and walked to her car.
