AHEAD OF OCTOBER 10, 2023, PRESIDENTIAL AND LEGISLATIVE ELECTIONS

Congo Town, Liberia – Prior to the October 10, 2023, presidential and legislative elections, the Standard bearer of the Coalition for Democratic Change issued an apology to disenchanted CIDICIANS.
President George Weah implored the disenchanted party members and backers who left due to policy differences to find a place in their hearts for the CDC.

‘I’m pleading with those of you who left over the years due to conflict or for other reasons to please rejoin the party and help make it great again.”

Mr. Weah remarked that as CDC is a grass-roots political party that represents the general public, it is the duty of party officials to resolve differences whenever they arise, and now is the appropriate time to do so. He added that his opponents who claimed to know something, did nothing resentful and are upset as a result of the amount of work he has accomplished.

“They came to you and said I knew nothing, but I want to tell you that I have done something. I am confident that the people of Liberia will do as they did in 2017, rejecting the propaganda against me and electing me so that I can accomplish even more than I was able to during my first term.”

Liberians are benefiting from the best of democracy under Weah’s leadership, according to the president, who said that the people of Liberia did not elect him in error. He urged young people, in particular those who were first-time voters, to sign up to vote in the upcoming elections.

Mr. Weah pleaded with them to seize the opportunity to remove underachievers who were vying for national leadership.
