Morocco agree to build artificial turf pitch for Liberia

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (RMFF) has agreed to build an artificial turf football pitch in Liberia.

It followed discussions between RMFF President Fouzi Lekjaa and Liberia Football Association (LFA) President Mustapha Raji.

In a letter to LFA secretary general Isaac Montgomery on February 14, 2022, RMFF secretary-general Tarik Najem said, the pitch construction follows last year’s exchange of letters on January 28, July 5, and July 28, 2022.

Najem said they recently received the documentation for the target installation and forwarded them to their infrastructure commission for study.

He said a site visit will be made to Liberia once the technical and physical works are completed.
