Liberia First Movement to begin Six Months Protest Tomorrow

A group of Liberians under the banner Liberia first Movement has declared six months peaceful Nation wide protest against the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) Led government headed by President George Manneh Weah.

According to the group head Sheikh Moustapha Kouyateh, the government of Liberia has failed in every sector including the lack of Justice, fight against corruption, Mysterious deaths of citizens, failure on the establishment of the war and economic crime court are factors contributing to the Nation wide peaceful protest.

Kouyateh mention that the “CDC” Led government came to power on the basis of the establishment of the war and economic crime court in Liberia to give Justice to the war victims family across the country.

He expressed that the Nation wide protest will officially begin Tuesday July 26, 2022 to Thursday January 26, 2023; his quest for the establishment of the war and economic crime court is intended to provide Justice and accountability for all Liberian he narrated.

The head of Liberia first movement narrated that his group is a Silver society organization aimed at advocating for citizens in the country and to claim the attention of Developing partners regarding situations that citizens are confronted with.

The former Senatorial Candidate of Montserrado County turn as unfortunate that the government refusal to establish the court and prosecute those who committed crime during Liberia 14 years of civil conflict.

He used the occasion to called on Liberian to support the initiative as it is in the interest of every Liberian; he expressed that the CDC government took over the country without clear vision in steering the affairs of the country as the results citizens are living in adject poverty.

He made the accession Monday, July 25, 2022 when he addressed a press conference in Monrovia.
