He noted that 7 Districts out of the 17 electoral districts in Montserrado County, is exclusively for women in the Coalition for Democratic change to contest for positions at the party’s primary in the pending 2023 elections. The chairman mentioned that no male from the CDC will contest in those Districts that will be mentioned.

He expressed that Women are very essential in the decision-making process as such, there is an urgent need to support women in their quest to participate in electoral processes in the country.

He made the statement when the Coalition for Democratic Change(CDC) Identified with women of the Muslim communities from the 17 electoral Districts across Montserrado county.

Chairman Morlu presented 100 bags of 25kg rice, One thousand United States Dollars ($1,000USD), and a Cow to the Muslim group. The program was held on Wednesday, July  6, 2022, at the CDC head Quarters in Oldest Congo Town.

Receiving the gesture on behalf of the Muslim Women, Haja manhattan Toure extolled officials of the ruling establishment especially President Weah for the gesture.

Madam Toure expressed delight and acknowledged the developmental initiatives undertaken by the CDC Led government in the country; she at the same time called on Chairman Morlu to construct a mini Mosque in the compound where Muslims can worship while attending the party’s functions.
