She said the team is prepared administratively and technically to represent the country for the second edition of CAF women’s Champions League due to it current form, but the impact of home fans is Cardinal.

Grace Weah who is popularly known in Liberia as ‘Master Queen’ made the disclosure on Saturday, 13 August at the SKDΒ  practice pitch during the club’s regular training session ahead of the competition.

” Representing your country is a great thing for every one of us, but support is cardinal. I want for Liberians to turn up in their numbers and cheer the girls to victory”.

” Trust me, with support from home fans, I believe we can make good representation for our country in this competition. As for preparation, we are technically and administratively prepared for this competition, she said”.

Master Queen also expressed concern over what she called the low attendance of football lovers in Liberia during women’s games.

According to her, more people expressed interest in male games as compared to female games, adding that, this time should not be the same.

“Determine Girls as a club, is well prepared. The players are mentally and physically and that’s why we practice every day as we can. Accept for tomorrow which is Sunday and we are going to allow them to have a rest and move to camp on Monday”.

“We participated in the first edition held in Cape Verde last year and we saw how it was. Playing home has an advantage and we are going to make use of that, but home base fans mighty play a pivotal role, Master Queen added”.

Determine Girls President at the same time said her goal is to provide opportunities for the players to get professional contracts like the case of Paulinho Agotsua who is now playing in Kazakhstan Women’s top league.

” I will not stand in the way of any player once the right offers come. I’m into football to create more opportunities for our younger women, she acknowledged”.

Meanwhile, Determine Girls FC will also take on Ambassador FC on August 24 National Flag Day in the LFA Super while LISCR FC will take on Watanga FC in the male category on the same day.
