Maria Eva Doerner, a candidate for the position of representative for Margibi County’s Electoral District #1, claimed that the District’s growth and development are being undermined by the absence of opportunities and investments in the private sector. She claims that Tibelrosa Tarponweh, a District lawmaker, has utterly failed the District’s residents and has vowed to be replaced on October 10, 2023.

She claims that District Lawmaker Tibelrosa Tarponweh has utterly failed the District’s residents, and she has vowed to replace him on October 10, 2023. Speaking to reporters at her home in Margibi County, the District #1 representative candidate explained that because politicians have imposed restrictions on the district’s election process throughout the years, the district has lagged behind in terms of significant developments.

Madam Eva noted that she has helped over 300 young people find employment throughout the District over the years and urged the government and developing partners to invest in the private sector in order to foster job opportunities for youth throughout the nation.

According to her, since there are few opportunities for young people in the District, she is working to boost the private sector. Madam Eva added that when the private sector is strengthened, the District would develop. The businesswoman-turned-politician urged young people to concentrate on the nation’s development efforts rather than its destruction, stressing that violence has weakened the country’s core social base. The District #1 representative candidate mentioned that she has carried out significant district development projects such as building a church, hand pumps, pit latrines, and scholarships for the district children.

The Youthful Representative hopeful urged young people in the nation, particularly in District #1 Margibi County to choose a career path and carry out those plans for successful Leadership. A career path that will help them to become successful Leaders in changing the narrative of the country. She cautioned youths across the country to vote wisely in the pending 2023 general and Presidential elections. The Margibi county electoral District#1 representative hopeful Maria Eva Doerner said representative Tibelrosa Tarponweh has scored “F” in the overall performances in the District; Stressing that residents of the District lack safe drinking water, poor Health facilities, poor Educational sector, no accountability for District Development funds.

She reassured them that the district lawmaker is allegedly involved in selling scholarships that belong to the disadvantaged to the rich, calling it an unpleasant scenario on their side.
