    Amputees Lonestar Coach name 18-man squad for international friendly

    Amputee Lonestar head Coach Victor Benson has released 18 men players Listing to move on Camp for the upcoming Liberia VS Sierra Leone in an International Friendly on 24 August in Monrovia.

    Liberia Amputees National team is using the friendly to prepare for Turkey’s 2022 Amputees World Cup in September.

    Liberia is one of the four countries representing Africa in the competition alongside, Tanzania, Morocco, and Angola.

    The Nation has been paired in group A alongside, hosts Turkey, France, and Haiti, but their opening fixture of the World Cup will be on 30 September against the Caribbean, Haiti.

    Coach Benson brought in five new faces for the match including, Delving Jusu, Tom Kromah, Emmanuel Blah, Benedict Kollie, and Fallah Varney.

    The list also contains two professionals from Turkey, Matthew Joe and Morilai Boakai, and team Captain Prince Waymah.

    Here is the squad in full:

    Goalkeepers include Jutomu Kollie, Francis Fallah, and Emmanuel Blah.

    Defenders are Joe Dickson, Capt Prince Wymah, Jerome Tokpah, Benedict Kollie, Junior Menewon, and Tom Kromah.

    Midfielders are Emmanuel Provilence, Emmanuel Nyumah, Abraham Warpoe, Fallah Varney, Darlington Sebeh, and Prince Williams.

    Forwards are Matthew Joe, Delvin Jusu, and Morilai Boakai.

    Meanwhile, a 26-man Sierra Leonean Amputee Football delegation is expected to arrive in Liberia on 23 August to take on Liberia Amputee national team in an international friendly on the 24th.

    The delegation is headed by the President of Sierra Leone Amputees Football, Aruna Thulah, Secretary General Mariama Kamara, head Coach Abraham J. Bangura, Technical Director Maxwell Fornan, Mohammed L. Kamara, Welfare chairman, Assistant Coach, Mohammed A. Bah, program coordinator, Pastor Mamud Samai, and Media officer Albert Manly Mustapha.
