Monrovia, Liberia – According to the Alternative National Congress Youth Congress, justice and democracy, which were previously the cornerstones of Liberia, are now under attack from an unlawful regime Speaker.
The African National Congress (ANC) National Youth Congress said that it is unified in its appeal for all citizens to rise up and fight against this oppression.
“The President’s support for Horrible Richard Koon’s dictatorship is exemplified by the violent attack on a journalist and the illegal search of Hon. Yekeh Kolubah’s vehicle. These behaviors go beyond simple legal violations; they are attacks on our democracy and our most valued rights,” the statement read.
“We have seen the quick building of duplexes all throughout the country since majority Block Koon’s unlawful takeover of power, which was facilitated by the President. The confidence of the Liberian people is betrayed by these corruptly supported institutions. Since these structures are symbols of corruption and wrongdoing, we implore all citizens to oppose them,” cited in the statement.
After that, the ANC Youth Congress promises to stand for any Liberian who defends democracy and justice. “Together, we will destroy the Rescue story and bring back Liberia’s authentic essence.”
